Position: Senior/Lead Piping Engineer
Location: Paris (13th district) – Hybrid (2 days/week home office possible after 3 months)
 

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Piping Engineer with extensive offshore FEED project experience to take ownership of the piping discipline on a large-scale engineering project.

As the discipline lead, you will be responsible for defining and reviewing piping deliverables, supervising stress and materials studies, and coordinating closely with layout and 3D modelling teams. You will ensure compliance with international standards and provide technical guidance to the project team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the piping discipline and act as the primary interface with project management

  • Define, prepare, and review piping deliverables including design basis, material classes, specifications, datasheets, and requisitions

  • Supervise piping stress studies, materials selection, and vessel calculation reviews

  • Validate datasheets and vendor documentation for piping-related packages

  • Coordinate with the layout lead and 3D modelling teams

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements

  • Plan and monitor project progress for the piping scope

  • Organize and participate in client and internal meetings

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

Qualifications

  • MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Senior/Lead Piping Engineer with an engineering contractor on offshore FEED projects

  • Strong knowledge of piping design, stress analysis, materials, and vessel studies

  • Solid understanding of international piping standards and codes

  • Experience with Perenco projects or Brazilian projects is a plus

  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage deliverables
