About You

You’re a detail-oriented and commercially minded professional with a passion for numbers and project performance. With 3–5 years of experience in cost control—ideally within the energy industry, you have a strong analytical mindset and thrive in dynamic, project-driven environments.

You combine structure with flexibility, ensuring cost transparency and financial accuracy across all project phases. You’re comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant higher education in finance, business, or engineering.

  • Proven experience in project cost control and financial forecasting.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach and an eye for continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Cost Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of our projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting project costs and revenues, providing insights that support sound decision-making and project success.

In this role, you will:

  • Control and coordinate cost information across all project levels and phases.

  • Maintain accurate cost and revenue forecasts, including early identification of deviations and trends.

  • Develop and maintain project performance indicators, analyses, and reports.

  • Establish and monitor project cash flow forecasts.

  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing in accordance with contract provisions.

  • Track and follow up on expended manhours.
    Your work will be essential in supporting project managers and ensuring that projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards.
