About You
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, and solid experience from maintenance and modification (M&M) projects within the oil and gas industry. You must have a strong understanding of project management, cost estimation, and risk management principles, combined with good knowledge of industry standards, Class rules, and regulatory requirements. You are fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You work in a structured, analytical, and systematic way, with the ability to manage tasks both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A proactive mindset, strong focus on safety and project goals, and motivation to contribute to continuous improvement and sustainable, low-carbon solutions are essential qualities for success in this role.
 


About the Role
Responsible for leading and coordinating multidiscipline M&M projects within the oil and gas sector, ensuring alignment between engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities. Accountable for cost, schedule, and quality performance in accordance with company procedures, HSE guidelines, and the Project Execution Model (PEM).

  • Lead project teams and ensure effective coordination between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, Mechanical Completion (MC), Commissioning, and Work Preparation.
  • Establish and maintain engineering activities and procurement schedules to support efficient project execution.
  • Develop cost estimates and scopes of work to obtain client approval and manage project budgets.
  • Prepare and follow up on project plans, including change management, weight tracking, cost control, and vendor interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with the Project Execution Model (PEM), company HSE guidelines, and QA objectives.
  • Contribute to engineering KPI performance, project risk management, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide technical solutions that promote standardization and cost efficiency. 
  • Ensure all discipline deliverables align with company work processes, procedures, and quality standards.
