As Principal Process Engineer, you will take on a technical lead role within the process discipline and play a key part in our projects – including greenfield, modification, and maintenance work. You will collaborate closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.

About the Role
As Principal Process Engineer, you will take on a technical lead role within the process discipline and play a key part in our projects – including greenfield, modification, and maintenance work. You will collaborate closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform process design across all project phases (studies, FEED, detailed engineering, etc.)
- Prepare and quality assure process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, line lists, calculations, etc.)
- Conduct simulations and process analysis
- Coordinate technical deliveries and support cross-functional project teams
- Act as a mentor for junior engineers
- Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and client technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal requirements
- Qualifications
- MSc/BSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Energy Technology
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably from the oil & gas or energy sector
- Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS, UniSim, Phast)
- EPC and/or brownfield modification project experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is an advantage
- Strong system understanding and ability to work independently and systematically
- Excellent collaboration skills and interdisciplinary understanding
- Language Requirements
- Fluent Norwegian (spoken and written) is a mandatory requirement
- Proficiency in English is also required
