Contracts Specialist

Job title: Contracts Specialist
Location: Paris, France
Client: Operator
Employment Type: Renewable Contract

About You

You are a seasoned Contracts & Procurement (C&P) professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing contracts for complex infrastructure or offshore projects — particularly in Transport & Installation (T&I) scopes. You’re confident handling contract negotiations, procurement strategy, claims management, and supplier performance monitoring. You work well in international, cross-functional teams, and bring strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or German is an advantage.

About the Role

This position offers the chance to lead contract and procurement activities for WTG Transport & Installation across multiple offshore wind projects totalling 4.5 GW. You’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of T&I packages for projects including N-12.1, N-11.2, N-9.4, and O-2.2. The role covers the full lifecycle from tendering and supplier evaluation through to post-award contract management and execution support.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading contract strategy and execution for WTG T&I scopes
  • Managing pre- and post-award contractual activities, including claims and variations
  • Supporting procurement activities such as market analysis, commercial assessment, and supplier due diligence
  • Ensuring compliance with project procedures, internal approvals, and ERP tool usage (Ariba, MBC, AGORA)
  • Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Planning, Insurance)
  • Managing interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to reduce risk and drive performance

About the Company

You’ll join a global renewables development team delivering cutting-edge offshore wind projects across Europe. The client is known for its technical excellence, collaborative culture, and commitment to innovation and sustainability. Following successful offshore wind auction wins in Germany, this role is part of a broader program focused on delivering strategic infrastructure for the energy transition.

What’s on Offer

  • A strategic role on high-profile German offshore wind projects
  • Dynamic working environment based in Paris, with European travel
  • Long-term residential contract with possibility of renewal
  • Competitive day rate and exposure to international project delivery at scale
