Marine Superintendent

Marine Superintendent
W2 Contract – Long Term
Cameron, LA

About the Client
The client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, their modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

About the Role
As the Marine Superintendent, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the safe and efficient execution of all marine operations for an LNG facility in Cameron, Louisiana. Acting as the main point of contact for third-party marine contractors, you’ll oversee day-to-day vessel activities, including tug and barge operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and U.S. regulatory requirements. This position requires a detail-oriented leader with a strong understanding of marine logistics, safety systems, and contractor management. You’ll work closely with internal teams across logistics, HSE, and operations to optimize the marine supply chain, promote continuous improvement, and uphold the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship.

About You
You’re an experienced marine professional who thrives in dynamic, high-stakes environments and takes pride in running safe, compliant, and efficient operations. With a strong background in tug and barge management, you understand the complexity of coordinating multiple contractors and stakeholders within large-scale energy projects. You’re proactive, organized, and have a sharp eye for detail — able to identify risks before they escalate and drive accountability across teams. You bring a deep understanding of U.S. Coast Guard, OSHA, and maritime regulations, coupled with a practical leadership style that promotes safety, collaboration, and operational excellence. Holding a TWIC card and backed by years of hands-on marine supervision experience, you’re ready to make an immediate impact on one of the Gulf Coast’s most significant LNG developments.
