About You
You are an experienced Offshore Installation or Marine Engineer with proven expertise in Transport and Installation (T&I) operations for offshore wind projects, specifically focused on Inter-Array Cable (IAC) packages. You possess hands-on experience preparing, managing, and coordinating T&I engineering and execution activities within complex, large-scale offshore environments.
You are well-versed in offshore construction, marine logistics, lifting operations, and cable installation campaigns, and bring strong commercial awareness through your involvement in tendering processes, contract strategy development, and bid evaluations.
Technically skilled and detail-oriented, you thrive in multidisciplinary environments and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with contractors, supply chain partners, and internal teams to achieve project milestones safely, efficiently, and on budget. You combine strong analytical and organizational abilities with an ability to manage interfaces and technical risks across multiple offshore packages.
You are confident operating in an international environment, coordinating with regulatory, certification, and permitting teams, and ensuring compliance with local requirements—particularly within the German offshore regulatory framework.
About the Role
The service provider will work within the IAC T&I Package, in close collaboration with the Project Management team, and will play a critical role in developing the engineering and tender documentation associated with T&I activities. The role focuses on preparation for the execution phase, supporting contractual strategy, interface management, and coordination between project packages to ensure a safe and seamless installation campaign.
Key Responsibilities

Support the T&I Package Lead in refining and implementing the contractual strategy for IAC operations, including specific equipment and CPS stabilization.

Participate in the tendering process, including bid evaluations, recommendations for award, and contractor negotiations.

Contribute to the preparation and validation of technical specifications and Employer’s Requirements.

Collaborate with Contracts & Procurement (C&P) teams for final contract awards and follow-up.

Assist the T&I Package Manager with budget preparation, resource planning, and forecasting for upcoming phases.

Ensure strong coordination and cooperation between Contractor and Company teams, fostering transparent and efficient collaboration.

Support the development and management of the project interface matrix, both external (WTG, FOU, OSS, O&M) and internal (permitting, certification, environment).

Provide input to procurement activities in coordination with the IAC Supply Lead.

Maintain alignment with Permitting and Certification teams to ensure compliance with German regulatory requirements.

Support the development and implementation of the Project Safety Philosophy for construction and installation, ensuring contractor safety plans meet project standards.

Assist in developing quality systems and surveillance plans related to logistics, marine operations, and lifting means.

Collaborate with stakeholders and supply chain teams to ensure local content objectives are achieved.

Conduct logistics studies, risk analyses, and cost-benefit assessments to validate design and installation decisions.

Liaise with other package managers (WTG, FOU, O&M) to ensure timely delivery of main equipment to marshalling ports or installation sites.
