Job Title: Piping/Welding Inspector
Location: Shatton, UK
Contract: ~6 months (circa)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Piping/Welding Inspector for a ~6-month contract assignment in Shatton. The role will involve inspection and quality control of piping fabrication, welding, and installation activities, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections of piping and welding activities in line with project requirements and codes.

  • Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.

  • Witness and report on NDT activities and pressure tests.

  • Verify materials and fabrication against drawings and specifications.

  • Prepare inspection reports, highlight non-conformances, and follow up on corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in piping and welding inspection on industrial projects.

  • Certification such as CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI (essential).

  • Familiarity with ASME/API codes and QA/QC procedures.

  • Good reporting and communication skills.
