You are an experienced corporate legal professional with a strong background in French company law (SA and SAS structures) and corporate governance. You excel at independently managing a portfolio of companies, coordinating statutory requirements and ensuring legal compliance. You have expert knowledge of corporate law, proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial engineering, and you are fluent in English. Your ability to operate in an international, multicultural environment allows you to handle sensitive legal and administrative matters with precision and discretion.

About the Role

This assignment involves independently managing a portfolio of 25 French companies (SA and SAS) and one French-speaking foreign entity. You will oversee all aspects of statutory registers and governance, coordinate share transfers linked to officer changes, and manage annual signing campaigns of company records. The role requires direct interaction with board members, shareholders and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy and timeliness of all corporate governance activities.

You will be joining a major international energy operator’s Legal & Agreements Department within its Exploration & Production division. The department supports over 350 entities worldwide engaged in exploration, production and low-carbon initiatives.
