About the Client
The client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, their modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
About the Role
This position will support the Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) scope on a large LNG construction project in Cameron, LA. You will be responsible for analyzing and preparing Bills of Quantities from IFC drawings, validating contractor-reported quantities, and measuring progress on-site to ensure claims accurately reflect work completed. You will work closely with the scheduling team to validate planned work sequences, assist in reviewing and pricing proposed change requests, and participate in regular planning and progress meetings. Building strong relationships with contractors, planners, and project stakeholders will be key, as will providing accurate performance and productivity analysis to project leadership. This is a client-side role, working with limited supervision, where your input directly contributes to project cost control and schedule performance.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive construction professional with at least eight years of experience working on major industrial facilities such as LNG plants, power generation sites, or petrochemical projects. You hold a BS in Construction Management, Mechanical/Industrial/Piping/Structural Engineering, or have equivalent field supervisory experience. You have a strong understanding of instrumentation and electrical scopes, demonstrated analytical skills, and a proven ability to review quantities, validate contractor progress, and support commercial decision-making. You are an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and you bring a strong sense of accountability, problem-solving ability, and drive to deliver timely and accurate results.
