About the client
My client is a major Operating company based in Paris, France.

About the role

  • Be informed of T&I Specifications / employer requirements international norms and standards, extracting all the applicable requirements for the project T&I package,
  • Identify, implement and manage as necessary, Installation engineering studies as would be requested for T&I activities covering onshore and offshore scope, including testing,
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical meetings whose T&I inputs are required,
  • Participate, in liaison with Project Planning Leader, in the development of T&I installation schedule,
  • Develop Project Installation Plan, with associated installation schedule and installation principles,
  • Contribute to elaborate all necessary technical documentation related to the project T&I package. Support and participate also in the development and maintenance of Project Management main documents for T&I matters,
  • Ensure that all fabrication, construction, testing, installation qualification pre-commissioning and commissioning aspects are suitably addressed during the different engineering phases by timely reviewing and validating the relevant T&I documentation issued by Contractor(s) (technical documentation / queries / derogation requests) in compliance with Project requirements,
  • Highlight deviations, unacceptable or unjustified design choices affecting T&I activities and field operation as well as constructability, and fabrication issues,
  • Definition of requirements for Marine Warranty Surveys and inspections, ensuring project quality and compliance,

Experience

  • Have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline,
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in studies and execution phases of offshore wind / Oil & Gas projects especially linked to engineering, construction, installation and commissioning activities,
  • Hands-on experience with marine loading, transportation, and installation operations,
  • Have worked for an installation (T&I) contractor is a plus,
  • Have permanent concern for cost optimization and schedule adherence – construction permit requirements,
  • Experience in issuance of technical and execution plans and procedures related to offshore Transportation & Installation activities,
  • The ideal candidate will be Fluent in English (written and spoken) and (French speaking would be beneficial).
