Commisioning Engineers – Substation Projects (LV/MV/HV)
Yggdrasil Project – Årskog & Børdalen substations
Rotation: 13/15 (on-site accommodation provided)
Start: Immidiate
Duration: 12 months+

Hitachi Energy is urgently seeking Commissioning Engineers for the Yggdrasil Project involving two key substations (Årskog and Børdalen). This is a long-term opportunity with future projects in the pipeline.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform substation field engineering and commissioning of LV, MV & HV equipment.
  • Troubleshoot functional test deficiencies and resolve issues on-site.
  • Mark up commissioning drawings and provide technical support to design and construction teams.
  • Relay protection testing (using Omicron test equipment), circuit verification, and energizing plant components.
  • Prepare test protocols and update final documentation.

Required experience:

  • Background from oil & gas or energy sector, ideally with field or commissioning experience.
  • Experience with LV, MV, and HV systems and familiarity with relay protection testing.
  • PIMS tools/systems experience
  • Electrician certificate (fagbrev) or higher technical education (BSc/MSc)
